A one-way mirror from iCloud Photos to Google Drive.
AlbumFlow keeps a Google Drive copy of the videos and photos in your iCloud library, continuously, in the cloud. iCloud is always the source: we read from it and never write to it.
01Connect iCloud
Sign in with your Apple ID inside the dashboard. Apple sends its usual verification code to your iPhone; enter it once and the trust lasts about two months. We email you before it runs out.
02Connect Google Drive
One click through Google sign-in. We ask for Drive file access only: enough to create folders and upload photos, nothing else.
03Choose a Drive folder
Pick where in Google Drive the copy should live and how often to refresh it. Everything syncs by default. If you only want certain albums, name them or use a pattern such as "Family - *", which also catches the albums you create next year.
04The mirror runs on schedule
On every run we list the album contents and compare them against Drive without downloading anything. Only new or changed files transfer, so an unchanged library costs seconds.
05Files stream straight through
New videos and photos stream from iCloud to Drive as the original files, so a 4K clip lands exactly as shot. Nothing accumulates on our servers; each file is removed the moment its upload completes.
06Deletions respect safety limits
With mirrored deletions on, files removed from an album are removed from Drive too. A safety ratio aborts any run that would delete an unusual share of your files, which protects against iCloud glitches.
Why one direction matters
Two-way sync tools have to decide who wins when both sides change, and when they decide wrong, photos disappear. A one-way mirror has no such ambiguity: your iCloud library is untouched, and your Google Drive copy simply follows it. That is what makes it safe to leave running for years.
